I want my children to develop their future path in the creative industry. Of course it is not for me to tell them which way to go but I would hate to see them stuck in an office or over working as a Doctor/Lawyer.
Being creative and following my heart has always been more important to me than money (maybe that's why I'm broke lol) and I want my kids to love what they do.
My daughter is a definite writer! She has been writing since she was 9 years old. She also loves drawing/fashion
My eldest and youngest son are both music lovers and my eldest son wanted to be a chef.
There's still time!
I found these great podcasts that are interviews of people working in the creative industry created by the University of Arts London. CLICK HERE
I was listening to the self employment podcast and he said something that was very true. You go from not making money, to just making enough to live on to having spare money and enjoying your wealth when you are self employed.
If you are a creative you may sometimes get stuck in the first two because you love what you do and can't be bothered with the whole marketing and selling stuff!
Blogs of course are a great alternative, you get to express yourself and show off your talent using your blog.
