Creative Industry Mentoring Boost

Leading lights from the creative industries are being teamed up with twenty four high growth companies to build the world class businesses of tomorrow in a new initiative aimed at boosting the UK's creative industry.

The Creative Business Mentor Network run by the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA)  has been started to develop creative businesses of the future in advertising, TV production and digital companies and help them grow into significant players in the sectors.

Chosen from hundred's of applicants this initiative is hoping to "build the world class businesses of tomorrow"

Cultural blogging in Europe interviews by lab for culture

Labforculture at www.labforculture.org are carrying out a number of interviews with professionals on cultural blogging. Their aim is to find out more about how blogs are fitting into and influencing the cultural sector so they bought in Annette Wolfesberger to interview a number of professionals. Anette is the project manager at Virtueel Platform the Dutch sector institute for e-culture.
